Composer/Percussionist Aaron Siegel writes experimental music that lies at the intersection of abstraction and intuition. His works have been presented by Roulette, The Chocolate Factory, Ulrichsberg Kaleidaphon, and the Sonic Arts Network. His music has been performed by the Flux String Quartet, Till by Turning, pianists Emily Manzo and Walter Frank, cellist Alex Waterman, Kyklos Chamber Ensemble and the Aaron Siegel Ensemble. Bryan Markovitz is co-founder of Liminal Performance Group in Portland, Oregon. He has directed more than a dozen Liminal productions and received three Portland Drama Critics Awards for his directing and design. Quartet
The FLUX Quartet has appeared at Da Camera of Houston, Miller Theater,
the Walker Art Center, the Library of Congress, and Carnegie Hall’s
When Morty Met John Festival. FLUX maintains a vivid repertoire balanced
between notable pioneers as well as visionaries of tomorrow and has always
been committed to projects of unique vision that defy aesthetic categorization.
